When was the last time you did something for the first time?
Well, there’s no time like the present! Be part of a new movement and come discover why Todos Santos is known as the Pueblo Magico, or “magical town” of Baja! Pedal to the rhythm of your favorite music with 14 of your new and old friends as you travel with LocoMotion. Together we’ll investigate this small but special place where organic agriculture, farm-to-table gastronomy, art galleries, and history are all located in this charming spot nestled between the desert and the ocean. Your bilingual tour guide will show you the town’s old Mexican architecture, teach you about its history as a sugar cane capital, and take you to sample some delicious offerings of the region—serapes, tequila, and candy, to name a few. During our three hour bike tour, there will be endless discovery and fun: in addition to seeing the town’s historic church, theater, and museum, riders will have a totally interactive experience with a variety of activities like a mixology class, a local tequila tasting, and a traditional Mexican food preparation class and a wine tasting. After an exciting day of warm weather, great company, good food, and fun, we’ll end the trip with locally made ice cream—and free time—before we head back to Cabo. We’ll tour the quaint streets of Todos Santos, making stops in the town’s most emblematic places like the Theater Manuel Marquez De Leon (a beautifully restored theater that’s been hosting concerts and celebrations since 1944), the ‘house of culture,’ which is the town’s local history museum, and the famous Hotel California (yes, that Hotel California) among other exciting destinations. What makes LocoMotion bike tours extra special, though? We immerse you in the culture! Tour stops will also include learning how to make tortillas, guacamole, and salsa Mexicana (pico de gallo), a baja win tasting class, a mixology class where you’ll put together a specialty LocoMotion cocktail, and a tequila and candy tasting where you can sample the liquor and sweets typical of the region. At the end of the tour,, sample locally made ice cream and then enjoy free time to revisit your favorite stops along the way or slow down and take in the scenery. This is a tour that’s full of versatility and fun, showing you every side that this magical town has to offer!
